- The protective masks and headgear are made of patented barrier fabric imported from M/S PFG, Greensboro, NC USA, treated with “aegis microbe shield”, which inhibits the gram + and gram – micro organisms on contact.
- The non sticky fabric as specially treated with dupont Teflon for fluid repellence and easy soil release is washable, can be sterilized yet retains the microbe shield, imparted to it even after 150 washes.
- The protective mask with the pore size if 3 microns and good air permeability can suppress the airborne bacteria when comes in physical contact and guards the affected against secondary infections.
- The mask and head gear that is provided with a carbon grid with the see through arrangement covering the total head can be safely used without any nuisance static by the hospital staff and doctors treating the infected.
- The presence of antimicrobial treatment that is provided by “polymeric suffusion” is stable and durable, non leaching and non migrating which can be distinguished by “bromopheniol blue” stain test.
- The fabric despite densely oven continuous filament polyester facilitates high rate of moisture vapor transmission and do not insulate or trap heat due to the yarn treatment yet provides a soft comfort.
